This evening bag has been custom designed by Suzanne Sugg especially for Mrs. Alan Arkin for the 79th Academy Awards (2007 Oscars). The elegant black silk taffeta handbag has center panels embellished with late 19th century gold metallic braid, lace, velvet ribbon, and Swarovski crystal beads and surrounded by ruched black silk taffeta. The evening bag is accented with an early 20th century satin finished brass frame decorated with embossed flowers. The flowers and Swarovski crystal beads are repeated in the chain handle. The lining is an antique gold silk taffeta.
